This place let many dogs in difficult made a come back, they found a new home, and they found hope.
2. Wugu Animal Shelter (Public)
Add. No. 9-9, Wailiao Rd., Wugu District

Open. Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM & 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
This is a government shelter. You can see how government works and distribute money, and you also can see how citizens taking care of the strays.
3. New Taipei City Animal Protection and Health Inspection Office
Add. Bldg C, No. 9, Wailiao Rd., Wugu District.

Open. Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM & 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM.
They focus on animal health, quality of the pet food, and make the city more friendly to the stray dogs.
4. Friendly Animal Welfare Association
(Wugu Shelter)

Open. Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Many dogs stay here for a long time. You can see how the
shelter and volunteers manage food, medicine, and chores to keep the group of the dogs to be happy and healthy.
5. Linkou Adoption Station

Open. Sunday, 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM.
A pet shop and a shelter exist at the same time. It helps the stray dogs get more chance to be noticed.
6. Banqiao Animal Shelter

Open. Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM & 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
This is a big famous shelter. It has large areas for dogs to run and play. This is the best place to see how hard the volunteers help the stray to find a new family.
